On-site food within the centre is excellent.
Access is easy via two transit lines (Elizabeth Line of the London Underground – Custom House station as well as the Docklands Light Railway – Prince Regent station) with escalators and elevators available. Many hotel options at various price points within an easy walk.

Following this site visit, the IEA Executive Committee met on the 25 and 26 April in Nottingham.
Each of the officers and Standing Committees provided reports and together discussed the results of their SWOT (Strengths-Weaknesses-Opportunities-Threats) analysis for the IEA. Furthermore, comments shared by attendees of the 5 March IEA virtual Council gathering were incorporated. The proposed plan moving forward was shared during the 7 May Virtual Council Gathering.

Immediately following these meetings, the Chartered Institute of Ergonomics & Human Factors (CIEHF) held their annual Ergonomics & Human Factors congress in Nottingham (27-29 April). IEA President Andrew Thatcher was an invited speaker launching the build-up to IEA2027 and leading a panel on Future Strategy for Human Factors.
