Tsinghua University (MEM Education Center) has been a Diamond Level Corporate Sustaining Member for more than 5 years. Tsinghua University, as a high-ranking world leading university, is committed to cultivating global citizens who will thrive in today’s world and become tomorrow’s leaders. Through the pursuit of education and research at the highest level of excellence, Tsinghua is developing innovative solutions that will help solve pressing problems in China and the world. The MEM Education Center, supported by 16 engineering schools/departments, aims to cultivate leading engineering management talents (Master of Engineering Management, MEM), who not only master engineering knowledge and experience, but also understand human resource, market, and systems thinking, and may lead challenging engineering projects or programs and serving the society in a human-centered way.  We believe that human factors and ergonomics (HFE) is an important course for the MEM program. We also believe that cross-country or cross-region collaboration is extremely important to make this program successful. The setting of the IEA-Tsinghua Award for collaborative HFE Education is following the university global strategy and encouraging scholars and practitioners to collaborate in cultivating future outstanding engineering leaders.
