JES publishes tips for working at home

The Japan Human Factors and Ergonomics Society (JES) has created a 13-page booklet, “Seven Practical Tips for Teleworking/Home-Learning using Tablet/Smartphone Devices.” As explained in the introduction, the society conducted a survey of its full members who work at educational institutions, and “found that less than 40% of respondents were aware of the appropriate ergonomics to be followed when teleworking or attending online meetings and about how to improve the indoor working environment.”  As a result, an expert panel of JES council members created action-oriented tips for individuals working and learning at home.
