The IEA mourns the passing of Prof. Dr. Klaus Zink. Prof. Zink spent three separate terms in the IEA’s Executive Committee including as Vice-President Treasurer from 2009 to 2012. Prof. Zink also spent many years as the German-speaking ergonomics society representative on the IEA Council. He started the IEA’s Human Factors and Sustainable Development Technical

The IEA mourns the passing of Prof. Dr. Klaus Zink. Prof. Zink spent three separate terms in the IEA’s Executive Committee including as Vice-President Treasurer from 2009 to 2012. Prof. Zink also spent many years as the German-speaking ergonomics society representative on the IEA Council. He started the IEA’s Human Factors and Sustainable Development Technical Committee and the IEA’s Future of Work Task Force. He will be remembered for his long interested in improving the wellbeing of workers who were neglected. We send our condolences to Prof. Zink’s family, friends and colleagues at the Institute for Technology and Work which he founded and worked for many years.
